CHRIS LÜTTICHAU unites traditional shamanism with time-honoured native methods of clearing the past. People who study with him go through a process of initiation and self-healing combined with consciousness training that aims at expanding perceptions of reality.They set out on a journey to gain shamanic knowledge and skills as well as heal the wounds from their past. In accordance with the traditional ways, he teaches that increased strength must be accompanied with humbleness and living from the heart, as well as overcoming the distorted energies of one´s personality. On his workshops Chris makes classical shamanism accessible for people in the modern world. He shares in-depth and practical teachings based on respect for the earth and rooted in old shamanic cultures. Topics such as ancestors, dreaming and prayer often not included in western core shamanism are part of his teachings. Spirit contact is the foundation of his work. He has been on the path of shamanism for more than twenty years, and has travelled worldwide learning from healers, elders and shamans living close to the earth. Chris works as a teacher and healer, and has a special interest in dreaming. He has been teaching since 1992. In 1998 he founded the international teaching organisation NORTHERN DRUM SHAMANIC CENTRE, and has conducted workshops in Mexico, USA, Germany, Finland, Denmark, Ireland and the UK. Originally from Denmark, Chris is now based in the UK. THE VISION OF NORTHERN DRUM Chris Luttichau created Northern Drum Shamanic Centre in 1998 with the intention of spreading the teachings and wisdom that had come into his life. He had trained intensively with native elders and shamans from all over the world. Mother Earth then called him during vision quests and dreams, saying that it was now the time for these Original Instructions to be spread to the people who wanted them. It
is his vision and hope that these ancient, earth based teachings will enable the
hearts and minds of the people to heal. The old ways teach us about self responsibility
and raising our consciousness in order to awaken in the sacred dream of life and
Northern Drum is focused with this intent. Lyndsay MacKenzie supports Chris in this vision and has trained intensively with him as her teacher for the last 6 years. She teaches the Shaman’s Doorway, the Council for Women and the Earth’s Dream Summer Camp. She teaches with Chris on the Northern Drum 3 year, 1 year and Vision Quest trainings. It is her highest wish to be part of, and witness healing being brought forward for all the children in creation, however that manifests. Northern
Drum supports Native people by giving donations. We also run a bursary system
which enables people to attend workshops and trainings who otherwise could not
afford to come. Donations towards this fund, or for the native families we support,
