Eagle´s Dream - 5 Day Summer Camp for Young People

Rites of passage for 13 - 16 year olds

Introducing young people to ancient teachings from traditional cultures around the world.

Eagle´s Dream offers a unique experience for teenagers to find a meaningful connection with the natural world, and a chance to discover more of ther own unique potential, in a supportive, safe and creative environment.

Indigenous cultures have ways to honour a young person´s journey on this part of the life path, with ritual ceremonies to empower them.

This helps them step into self-responsibility and find the courage to follow their own heart. Over the 5 days we will be supporting and encouraging the young people to push the boundaries of their limited self-beliefs and through story, creative art, theater and play, to find and celebrate their own strengths. They will:

* learn how to relate to each other in a respectful way, by listening and speaking from the heart

* learn how to overcome feelings of inadequacy of lack of confidence

* explore hopes and dreams, sowing the seeds of everything they want to become, and creating a new personal vision.

* be supported in a vision quest ceremony, time alone in nature, asking for insights and power.

The Eagle´s Dream facilitatiors have all been studying with Northern Drum for many years, and we offer a diverse range of skills and experience between us, with a common passion of wanting to share the wisdom of these ancient teachings. They offer clear strategiees for a healthy, whole and balanced life in these uncertain times. Our hope is to inspire future generations to continue these earth-based ways of honouring each other, and all living things.

The camp will be held on a working organic farm in an area of outstanding natural beauty in Cornwall.
